I think that Urban standard might be my new favorite place. It's a casual place with a great vibe. The lunch menu is small but it has all the right stuff. A friend told me the vegetable panino is a must but it is only available on Tuesdays and Thursdays. 2nd Avenue North also seems to be the one area downtown that is headed in the right direction with Rouge Tavern, What's on Second, and a hand full of great lofts all on the same block.

While New York Pizza was tasty I think I will be reserving it for take out only. Since I do not have have kids the vibe doesn't quite suit me. If you do have kids, a large party or just want to escape the scene absolutely go!

I've heard so many amazing things about Saw's and it definitely lived up to it's reputation. The service is fast and friendly and most importantly the food is great! In addition to the sandwiches and plates they also serve up gigantasaurus stuffed taters and even a carolina dog with chili and slaw. I'll be back (insert governator voice)!

Between the bourbon smash and the mater sandwich I am officially won over by Mudtown. The dining room is small so it's best to go during off peak hours.
